Today almost anything is acceptable...and it is hard to stand up against the world. It is much easier to just do what everyone else does.
The Bible has not changed like the world changed. The world is without morals, respect and love. You have specific guidelines in the Bible to live by. This is to protect you and everyone else.
You do not need to be from the world to enjoy life. With God you will experience more joy and peace than you have ever thought is possible.
Worldly behaviour will put you in places and situations which can cause you irreversible harm.
I pray that God will give you the wisdom to know better and to seek Him every day.
