You have made mistakes. And those mistakes are not a reflection of who you are today, those mistakes do not define you, and it does not mean that you will never change. It only means that you are human.
Mistakes are in the past...but the decisions you make today will show how far you have come, you have grown. Are you a child of God or of the world.
And if you think you deserve a second chance, then the person who you think has sinned against you also deserves a second chance.
Become the change you want to see in someone else, in the world around you. You cannot expect the world to be forgiving, peaceful and joyful if you are not prepared to set the example.
You will reap what you sow.
