It is very important that you get your priorities in place at the beginning of the year, so that you will be able to keep up your strength throughout the year.
First of all, you need to schedule a daily meeting with God. You need to spend time in His presence because this is where you get guidance, wisdom, protection, and strength for your day. If you start with God, believe me… then you have already conquered whatever the enemy has planned against you for the day.
PS: You really need not to stick to only that timeslot to talk with God. He is always with you and listens whenever you want to talk with Him.
Very important: God did not work for 11 months and then took a break. No, He worked for 6 days and then took a whole day to rest. I am sure it was not because He needed the rest, it was because He knew you needed to see the importance of rest. You are not lazy or weak if you need to take a break. To take a break is to know you are human and you need to be refreshed regularly. You also need to take time to evaluate your work. Just like God did: “And God saw that it was good.”
Do not enter the rat race this year. 2025 is the year, where you can start to overcome life’s struggles. There is so much beauty and blessings all around you, but you are too busy with worldly stuff that you miss out on it. Live life in this moment. Afterall, you are only guaranteed the here and now!
“I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.”
Jeremiah 31:25-26
“The Lord is my Shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He refreshes my soul.”
Psalm 23:1-3
