Hosanna In the Highest

You will not give your only warm jacket to your enemy in the winter, not to mention your life for him. But Jesus, the Son of God, gave up His power and position in Heaven to became flesh, a man in this sinful world to be tempted, tortured, rejected and murdered for you who disappoint Him daily.

We hate to be patient and to wait, but Jesus waited 33 years to fulfil His purpose. He needed to walk in the path His Father prepared for Him and even though He knew exactly what awaited Him, He still needed the strength from God. He prayed more than I am sure me and you pray together daily.

Palms Sunday was the beginning of the end, and Jesus was just for one moment praised and acknowledged for Who He really was; and this is God’s signature to make sure that everyone knows He is in control.

If you stop for a minute and look back over your life, you will definitely see God’s signatures all over where it could have only been Him. Sometimes it feels like life is spinning out of control and there is no stop button. But believe me, if you hold on to God’s hand, you will see His signature all over as soon as the spinning stop.

You might feel out of control, or that there is no plan, no way out – and that is perfect, because what can you do anyway? If you gave it to God and trusted Him with it, then it will be sorted. Not necessarily as you would like it to be sorted, but as it should be sorted. Everything within God’s plan.

Because Jesus was faithful and fulfilled His purpose on earth, me and you have direct access to God Who is the only One Who IS in control and Who can do everything and anything you ask for, should it be within His will.
