A tree needs water and sun to grow. At first it is very fragile and the smallest storm can break a branch or even uproot the tree. But as the tree grows, it becomes stronger. It needs to get pruned to get rid of weak branches and it needs water and sun every day.
You will not grow into the person God created you to be, overnight. No, you too need “sun and water” every day: read your Bible and talk to God = daily. You need to grow in your knowledge of God and you need to strengthen your relationship with God.
The better you know God, the more powerful you get. You will know how to handle the enemy by reminding Him about Who God is and that the same God is in you.
When you build on a strong foundation, you will be able to stand against the storms.
Make sure God is your foundation and make time every day so that you can grow in your faith and strengthen your relationship with God.
The growth process can be painful, but you need to grow to become the person God created you to be.
