Matthew 7:4‭-‬5 | First take the plank out of your own eye

"Lord, forgive them for they know not what they do"

How many times have you prayed this? You pray for your neighbours as you should. But you never pray for yourself...

You are not perfect and you make mistakes. But sometimes you are so focused on everyone else, that you miss your own sin.

You need to love yourself first so that you can love your neighbour as you love yourself. You need to evaluate your life, your actions and your words. You need to correct what is wrong in your life so that everyone can see and experience Jesus through you.

Remember, your neighbour only answers to God, just as you only answer to God.

Spread Jesus through your example; spread His love, peace and joy.

“How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye” Matthew 7:4‭-‬5 (NIV)
