On Purpose for God

We do not always understand God’s plan, and most of the time we struggle more with what we thought should have happened, than with what actually happened.

God’s plan for us is perfect, but because of human interventions (free will) via ourselves or others around us, we go through detours to get to where God wants us to be. God will use these detours for His glory, but it will not change His plan for you…

It might delay His plan; you might go through deeper waters, struggle through unnecessary battles and pain, etc. all because you chose the world and not God. Or you ignored signs and warnings He has sent to you.

It is time to realize that the world has nothing to offer. Fame, wealth, and health, nothing lasts forever. Nothing can bring you pure joy. Nothing on this earth is yours and nothing is guaranteed. This life, this world, everything in it and on it is only temporary.

Some things are blessings, and the others are tests and temptations. The enemy wants you to fall for the temptations, to choose it above God and to forget about what the focus of your life on earth should be about.

God and His Kingdom, the spreading of His love and His Word, these things should be your priority and your focus, nothing else should be more important – no person, no object, no project, nothing else.

Time is the most valuable commodity, precious and priceless…spend it wisely. Spend it on eternal affairs, do not waste it on people, things, places, etc. which do not fit in with God’s eternal plan for you.

Do not waste another second.

Be on purpose for your God given purpose.

“So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly but understand what the Lord wants you to do.”

Ephesians 5:15-17 NLT

“And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God”

Titus 2:12 NLT
