It is easy to pretend...pretend you are happy, you like someone, you care...but eventually people will see the truth.
To love someone is to give yourself to them; your time and effort.
To know someone, you need to spend time with them.
To love someone you need to learn what they love, hate, their fears, dreams, what motivates and inspire them and what will cheer them up on stormy days.
Jesus gave Himself for you because He loves you that much.
You need to spend time with Him to get to know Him and you need to learn what He loves and hate.
He gave you the Bible for various reasons: to get to know God, to learn what is right and what is wrong and as a guide, to inspire you and to uplift you in difficult times.
Love like Jesus and hate what is wrong...not the person but the sin.
